When should shade prewire happen?
Before drywall. Shade power, control wiring and pocket framing need to be in place while the walls and ceilings are open.
Do I need to choose shades before prewiring?
Not the fabric, but we do need to know the mount style, the drive type and the control approach. A consultation settles that so the wiring matches.
