Lutron Shade Repair in Tampa Bay
When a Lutron shade stops, stutters, drifts or rolls crooked, we find the fault and fix it, usually in a single visit. We repair roller, Roman, cellular and drapery systems from Lutron.
Common Lutron shade problems
We repair the whole system: the motor (Lutron calls it an EDU, or electronic drive unit), the fabric, the hardware, the power and the controls.
- Shade won't move or only moves one direction
- Shade stops short or overshoots its limits
- Fabric telescoping, rolling crooked or wrinkling
- Frayed fabric edges and hembar damage
- Blinking lights or error codes on the shade or keypad
- Lost presets, groups or keypad programming
- Battery shades draining fast or not responding
- Noisy, grinding or stuttering drives
- Shades out of sync after a power outage
- Failed or missing power supplies
- Pico remote or keypad no longer controls shades
- Shade fell or brackets pulled loose
Diagnose first. Then repair.
- IdentifyWe read the shade's label and system to confirm model, drive and control type.
- TestWe check power, communication, drive health and fabric alignment.
- RepairWe re-set, re-align or replace the failed component, often on the same visit.
- VerifyWe run full travel, presets and keypads with you before we leave.
Repair before you replace
A new custom Lutron shade means new fabric, a new drive and weeks of lead time. Most failures come down to one part, a programming issue or alignment. Fixing that keeps the fabric that matches the rest of your room.
If a shade truly can't be repaired, we'll tell you. Then we'll quote a matching replacement through our Lutron shading service.

Frequently asked
How much does Lutron shade repair cost?
It depends on the fault. A reset or re-programming visit costs much less than a drive replacement. We'll give you a firm quote after diagnosis, before any work starts. [ADD YOUR TRIP / DIAGNOSTIC FEE]
My Lutron shade stopped working after a power outage. Can you fix it?
Often, yes. Outages and surges can cause lost limits, lost programming or a failed power supply. We test the drive, power and control, then restore or replace whatever failed.
Is my shade still under Lutron warranty?
Lutron's shade warranties depend on the product and the ship date. Their terms also exclude repair work done without Lutron's prior written consent. If your shade might still be covered, we'll help you check before we work on it.
Do you repair battery-powered Lutron shades?
Yes, including Triathlon and Serena battery shades. We handle battery issues, drive faults and re-pairing with Pico remotes and systems.
Shade not moving? Wrong size?
Send us a photo of the shade and its label. We'll tell you if it can be repaired or resized.
